1. When were your rock doors blown wide open?
When I heard David Bowie, Ziggy Stardust back in the early 70’s. Amazing and still is.

2. What posters were on your bedroom wall in High School?
Bowie, Santana, Hendrix, Parliament/Funkadelic, Pink Floyd

3. When did you become interested in NASA and space?
I saw the moon landing in the late 60’s. I was just a boy back then but it had a huge impact on me seeing the footage in the middle of the night.
My father woke me up for a week or so to watch the news, a few years later there was Bowie. One and one is……..space-rock.

4. A 35007 “fun fact” is…?
Playing at the “Ein Abend in Wien Festival” Rotterdam in 1991 together with Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins
and other big names. We had just started the band a year before and we were the only Dutch band playing, I think. Great start off.

5. What are your current musical projects?
Mother-Unit is my only project at the moment. A solo project that will never stop, I hope.

The Urban Dance Squad

Split Enz. Funny guy’s too.

10. You are stuck on a desert island and can have only one artist’s entire catalog. Whose would it be?
Hendrix…… for sure.

11. Of all the artists in your music collection, by whom do you have the most albums?
Funkadelic, it started in the 70’s and I’m still looking for Funkadelic albums.

12. Earthquake! You are allowed into your apartment long enough to save only one CD. What would it be?
The Black Keys at the moment, if it comes to the music and not sentimental value.

13. If you could add only one thing to touring to make it more interesting, what would it be?
A book about Taoism. The Zhuang Zi.

14. What thought or sentiment about music would you like to put in 1 million fortune cookies?
I wish you all the….. music.

15. What is something you once forgot that you will never forget again?
I forgot myself last year but never will.
